Raymond Scott Andrews

Raymond Scott Andrews, age 65, a lifelong resident of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his residence.  He was born on October 21, 1956, in Port Clinton to Raymond G. and Shirley P. (Grover) Andrews. While at Port Clinton High School he was an active participant in the DECA program, and was a 1975 graduate. Ray worked at Kroger’s, where he worked in multiple departments and became a supervisor.  He loved to help others and often would be found helping friends mow lawns.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling, going to casinos, cooking, and watching his favorite teams The Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers.

Ray is survived by his children, Kristy (Ray) Petrime, Ryan (Cheri) Andrews and A.J. (Samantha) Andrews; grandchildren, Taylor Rae, Anthony, Austin, Aubrey, Madison;  sister, Teresa Bradley; and significant other, Karen Polus.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from  2-6 pm at the Portage Township Hall, 2501 E. State Road, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Clinton High School DECA program, 821 Jefferson Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452 or to the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 Sand Road, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
