Ray Chester Dunfee

Ray Chester Dunfee Jr., 80, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Friday, December 07, 2012 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born on September 05, 1932, in Columbus, OH, the son of Ray C. and Maggie Hedges Dunfee Sr. On November 10, 1963 he married Barbara Lee Smith and she survives. Ray served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, where he was a combat medic in the 1666 885th Medical Group. Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 49 years: Barbara L. Dunfee; Children: June Dunfee Preston, Brenda Brown, Ray Dunfee III, Eugene Dunfee and Barbara Dunfee; Step-son: Eugene Dunfee; Step-daughters: Tammie Dunfee and Carol Myers; Brothers: Claude Dunfee, Earl Dunfee and Richard Dunfee; Sister: Martha Noftz; Grandchildren: Jolene Wieber-Raciborski, Arica Thompson, Miranda Dunfee, Vanessa Lovell, Joshua Dunfee, Christopher Dunfee and Jessica Dunfee; Great-Grandchildren: Abbigail Raciborski and Derreck Lovell. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brothers sisters: Margie Ross, Marie Walls, Leona Stout, Gilburta Dunfee, Carol Ann Dunfee and Kenneth Dunfee. A Graveside service will be held at 2:30PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270.
