Randy L. Perretti

Randy L. Perretti, age 49, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 surrounded by his family, after a courageous 5 year battle with various illnesses. Randy was born in Toledo to Dominick and Dolores Posner Perretti on December 18, 1958. An accomplished local builder, Randys company built many commercial buildings in the area including a number of Marcos Pizza locations, among them the corporate office on Monroe St., Baskin-Robbins, Chuck E. Cheese, and Dr. Khalil Sleep Centers. He was happiest at his cottage at Little Long Lake where he spent his time waterskiing and relaxing with his family and friends. Randy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed snowmobiling throughout the North, and even traveled to Wyoming to explore new trails. He was blessed with many wonderful friends that he would fish, travel, and play poker with regularly. He will be remembered as a generous, optimistic, and caring person who was always willing to tackle large projects; nothing was impossible to Randy. Randy is survived by his wife, Lucy; mother, Dolores; daughter, Marcella; son, Dominick Heidi Rieger; sisters, Sandi David Miller and Becky Bruce Garcia; brother, Joe Stacey Perretti; best friend, Eric Bueter; his other best friend, his dog Mickey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dominick; daughters, Marena and Marissa; and brother, Richard Raczkowski. Visitation will be Friday, January 18th from 2-9:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. Funeral services will begin Saturday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15am followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00am at St. Catherines Catholic Church, 4555 North Haven, Toledo, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Marcellas Educational Fund. The Perretti family wishes to thank the wonderful people at Innovative Dialysis, Lake Park Comfort Care, and The Toledo Hospital for their loving and compassionate care of Randy.
