Randy S. Lindner, age 59, passed away suddenly on Friday at Toledo Hospital. The son of Robert and Betty, he was born Feb. 16, 1955 in Sylvania. He was a graduate of Northview High School and attended Bowling Green State University. Randy was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed working with his hands and had the unique gift of building and fabricating almost anything. He was also a very talented calligrapher and was passionate about sharing his talent with everyone. There are literally thousands of people who have a quote, note or fun saying that he had writtenand given away. For that reason he lives on in more ways than just in memory. Randy will be remembered most as a loyal and dependable friend. When there was a need he was always willing to step up help. He is survived by his son, Matthew Lindner; grandson Justin Kai Lindner; life partner of 22 years, Debbie Stroud; mother of his son, Christine Lindner; siblings, Larry (Darlene) Lindner, Dusty Lindner, Mark (Jackie) Lindner, Robin (Scott) Barber, and Craig (Gib) Lindner. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jackie. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 3-6 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd). A memorial service will be held Wednesday after visitation at 7:00 PM at Delaneys Lounge 309 W. Alexis Rd Toledo, OH 43612. Memorials may be given to the family.
