Randy C. Gluth, 71, of Oak Harbor, died Monday afternoon, July 9, 2018, at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. Randy was born December 5, 1946, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Carl and Elizabeth (Rhoda) Gluth. On August 4, 1967, he married Connie L. Baxter and she survives. After 31 years Randy retired in 1996 as a foreman at Fremont Foundry. He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor. Randy enjoyed many hobbies, including his love of cars and going to car shows, playing cards, especially Poker, and spending time outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Cooper, and attending his grandchildrens activities. In addition to his loving wife of over 50 years, Connie, Randy is survived by his son, Scott (Amy) Gluth, daughter, Michele (Bruce) Glaser; grandchildren, Carter, Dakota and Taylor Gluth and Madison and Kyle Glaser; and his sister, Annette Schmit. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 221 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, with burial to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials for Randy to go to Mid-County EMS, Carroll Twp. EMS, or the donors choice.
