Randall S Faneuff

December 25, 1961 — August 10, 2023

FANEUFF Randall “Randy” Stephen Faneuff, age 61, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

He was born December 25, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, to John and Carol (Anderson) Faneuff. Randy grew up in Rossford, Ohio, and attended multiple schools. He graduated from Penta County Vocational School from the Construction/Electricity Program.

After High School, Randy moved to Oklahoma with friends and married his now ex-wife Karen (Barber) Meza. Randy was the proud father of two boys, Elias (Eli) Randall Faneuff and Joshua Dwayne Faneuff.

He later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he started and operated a business named Texas Tails, manufacturing custom fiberglass auto accessories.

Randy and his sons moved back to Rossford, Ohio, in 1994 where he raised his boys as a single parent, one of his proudest accomplishments. He was a hard worker, serving as a machine operator at Chrysler for 10 years.

In October 1999, Randy met the love of his life, E. Joan (Wolfe) Faneuff. They were introduced by mutual friends, quickly fell in love, and were married in June 2000. Randy, Joan, Eli, and Josh moved to Clyde, Ohio, where they purchased Leafy Oaks Campground in January 2004 and as a family, they pursued their goal of operating a campground. The family plans to continue to operate the campground in his absence.

Randy loved to joke around with family and friends when given the opportunity. He was an avid guitar player, rode motorcycles, and enjoyed collecting guns. He was a Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football fanatic but also enjoyed multiple other sports, as well as general wheeling and dealing. Randy had a big heart especially for children. He enjoyed interacting with the kids at the campground and they loved him especially when he brought out his guitar to play for them.

Randy is survived by his wife, E. Joan Faneuff, sons Eli Faneuff and Josh Faneuff, stepchildren Joe (Misty) Mottmiller and Heather Mottmiller. He is also survived by his 5 beloved grandchildren: Charlie Cutler, Carson Cutler, Joey Mottmiller, Armondo Andaverde, and Alejandro Andaverde as well as his siblings John (Gina) Faneuff, Bob (Mary) Faneuff and many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by parents Jack and Carol Faneuff.
