Ramon Hernandez Juarez, Jr.

Ramon H. Juarez, Jr., age 81, of Toledo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Orchard Villa in Oregon, Ohio. He was born September 30, 1942, in Pearsall, Texas to Ramon and Benita (Hernandez) Juarez.

Ramon took pride in his work as a forklift operator for 27 years at City Auto Stamping. He also assisted with custodial duties at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church where he was a longtime member. He dedicated time each year to serving the church during their festival and was a member of the Guadalupe Society. Ramon found much joy in spending time with his family and loved taking his grandkids fishing at 6:00 a.m.

Ramon leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Maria D. (Ybarra) Juarez; children, Raymond (MaryAnn), Diana (Richard, Sr.); Daniel, Sr., Lorenzo, Martin (Rita), Donna (Lawrence); 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson; siblings, Alverto (Paula) Juarez, Oscar Juarez, Antonio Juarez, Adelia Barbosa, and Carmen Juarez. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Richard Alvarez, Jr.; great-grandson, William Angel Juarez, Jr; three brothers and a sister.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Visitation will be concluded with the recitation of the Holy Rosary and a sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m. Committal services will be private.
