Ralph Wise

Ralph Wise, 87, of Curtice, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1930 to Estill and Mildred (Strobel) Wise in Toledo, Ohio. He and his beloved wife, Nelda (Orange) Wise, shared 63 wonderful years together. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years, having spent one year on the U.S.S. Toledo. Ralph was a Load Dispatcher for Toledo Edison for 37 years. He enjoyed woodworking and could fix anything. His greatest loves were his family and grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey E. (Veronica "Red") Wise and sister, Gwen Hayes. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nelda; son Joseph (Steven) Glynn; grandson, Jeffrey Wise; and great-grandson, Jeffrey Wise, Jr. Visitation will be at Hoeflinger- Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery 8551 Brown Road Curtice, Ohio 43412.
