Ralph Vance McRitchie, 60, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born on September 29, 1960 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of George and Wavelene (Vance) McRitchie. He married Elaine (Prusik) Wozniak and she survives. As a youth, Ralph hauled water for the family business, McRitchie Water, and was also a lifelong Farmer where he was active in the Ohio Farm Bureau. He worked at Ken Gill Construction. An avid bowler, he was a Lifetime member of the Professional Bowlers Association; was inducted into both the Sandusky and Port Clinton Bowlers Hall of Fame; was a State Champ and Record Holder; and also bowled in The Blade Traveling Classic League for many years. He was a past member of the Bay Township Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed a good cigar and Jager on occasion, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his mother, Wavelene; wife, Elaine; children, Ralph V. McRitchie, Jr., Suzette (Aaron) Wiechman, Suzanne (Ryan) Barth, Amanda Wozniak, Greg Wozniak; five grandchildren; brother, George (Cork) McRitchie; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bay Township Fire Department and EMS, 4471 W. Fremont Road, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
