Ralph Franklin Drescher

Drescher Ralph Franklin Ralph F. Drescher, age 86, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Ridgewood Manor. The son of Otto and Eleanor, he was born Jan. 25, 1925 in Toledo, OH. He graduated from DeVilbiss High School and received his Bachelor degree from the University of Toledo. Ralph served his country in U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He met, the love of his life, Carol Jones at the Toledo Ski Club. Ralph and Carol enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Ralph was a Real Estate Developer most of his life. After retirement, he obtained his brokerage license and worked for several brokerage firms including Prescott, Ball and Turben; Roney and most recently McDonald Securities. He loved boating and was a member at one time of Toledo Yacht Club and Maumee River Yacht Club. Ralph and Carol loved to travel. Ralph loved to spoil his wife and enjoyed his grandchildren dearly. He is survived by his son, Scott Sue Richardson; grandchildren, Thomas Griffin Richardson and special friends, Bill and Mary Ahring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol and brother, Harold. Friends may visit the family on Wed. from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd where services will be at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
