Ralph W. Busche, 95, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. Ralph was born on May 17, 1913 in Brownsville, OH to Charles and Amelia Jane Carson Busche. On November 25, 1938 in Port Clinton, OH he married Audrey Farmer and she survives. Ralph was a forklift operator for the Erie Army Depot. Ralph proudly served his country as a Naval Petty Officer 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Port Clinton. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1610, V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480 and the American Legion Post #113, all of Port Clinton, OH. Survivors include: Wife: Audrey Busche of Port Clinton; Daughters: Adelaide Ann Reino, Sue Carol Barry Humphrey, Jenny Marie Busche, all of Port Clinton; Grandchildren: Chris Reino, Brian Reino, Lisa Martino; Great-Grandchildren: Tommy, Maria, Gabe, Eli, Chloe; Sister: Bernadine Cline of Sardis, OH. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Herbert and Robert Busche. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, January 12, 2009, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Bruce Batchelor-Glader at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #113. Memorial donations in memory of Ralph may be given to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, OH, the Port Clinton E.M.S. or the Fraternal Order of Police.
