Rachel Melissa Kominek

Rachel Melissa (Lockrey) Kominek, 26, of Toledo, OH died Thursday, January 3, 2013 from injuries as a result of an automobile accident in Perrysburg Township. Her newborn baby daughter, Melissa McKenna Kominek, delivered at the scene of the accident, died on Sunday, January 6 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Rachel was born in Columbus, OH on April 8, 1986 to Brian D. and Carol L. (Sattler) Lockrey. After graduating from Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, she continued her education receiving a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 2010. She married Dustin M. Kominek in Perrysburg, OH on April 26, 2011. Rachel was currently working at the Central Ave. Walmart store in Toledo. She is survived by her husband, Dustin M.; daughter, Kinsey Mae Kominek; mother, Carol Lockrey of Columbus, OH; father, Brian Lockrey of Kokomo, IN; sister, Lynn M. (Nathan) Ison of Columbus, OH and twin sister, Jessica M. Lockrey of Columbus, OH; mother-in-law, Bev (Shawn) Ellis of Perrysburg, OH; father-in-law, Chuck Kominek of Bucyrus, OH; grandfather-in-law, Vernon Bollinger of Marion, OH; sisters-in law, Kaylee Jane Kominek and Sara Stockwell; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received from 4-9 P.M. on Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 12 with burial in St. Rose Cemetery.
