Prudence Wisinger

Prudie S. Wisinger, age 67 of Ottawa Hills, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. She was born October 26, 1945 in Champaign, Illinois to Loren and Margaret Seeger. She received her registered nursing degree from Kaiser Pemanente Nursing School in Oakland, California and practiced nursing for 15 years. She also managed family farms in Minnesota and South Dakota. Prudie enjoyed cooking, needlepoint and cross stitch. She also travelled extensively with her husband visiting Asia, Europe and throughout the United States. Her favorite country to visit was Scotland. Prudie was an avid reader, especially books on the English and Russian monarchies and she took several courses at The University of Toledo. Surviving is her husband Dr. Barney Wisinger; brother Fredrick Seeger; sister Melinda Patrick Leary; nephews Colin Leary and Darren Susan Leary; great niece Marisa Leary; and great nephews Connor and Tyler Leary. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in Clear Lake, South Dakota.
