Priscilla S. Badik

October 18, 1942 — June 25, 2023

Priscilla S. Badik, age 80 of Perrysburg, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born October 18, 1942 to George and Theresa (Domonkos) Gancsos in Toledo, Ohio. After graduating from Waite High School in 1960, Priscilla worked as a receptionist for Siebold and Associates for 25 years, and later in life with ReMax Masters. She was also a volunteer at Hospice and the Stranahan.

Priscilla was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since 1974 and enjoyed many friendships she made during that time. She was an avid reader following her retirement and enjoyed watching QVC, especially when David was on, as well as her favorite movies ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Baby Driver’. Priscilla took care of herself, always making sure her hair and nails were done as her appearance was always important to her. She could often be found watering her flowers, feeding the birds, or spending time with her dogs Mandy and Buffy. She would have fun going to the casino, but only if she won. Priscilla enjoyed her personal vehicles, preferring only 2 door models. She also enjoyed the Chicago Bulls in the 1990’s and most recently the Cleveland Browns and the Golden State Warriors. Priscilla loved to eat out, especially to those restaurants that served salmon. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and always attended their sporting events.

Priscilla is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Badik; children Janine (Darryl) Betterly and Bryan Swartz; grandchildren Channing, Evan, Marissa, and Matthew Swartz; stepchildren Candace (Ben) Kresse and Wendy (David) Temple; and step-grandchildren Owen, Isaac, and Clare Kresse, and Samantha, Bradley, and Emily Temple; sister-in-law Dorothy Gancsos. Preceded in death by brother George Gancsos.

Family and friends will be received Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, (222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg). A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Donations in Priscilla’s honor can be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg for taking great care of Priscilla.

Note from her husband Ron; “I’m so proud of you and will miss your beautiful smile.”
