Phyllis Steele

Phyllis Steele, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Meadow Wind Health Care Center.  She was born on November 17, 1938 in Wayland, Kentucky to Orville and Golden (Campbell) Walls.  Phyllis came to Port Clinton in 1972 and worked for Standard Products for 22 years.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Port Clinton.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Norma Benanzer of Massillon, Ohio, Laura Belle (Matt) Valenti of Port Clinton and Robert Steele, Jr. of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Phillip  and Robby Adkins, Josh Large, Sean Sandefer, and Danny, Jacob and Angie Steele; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her paretnts, sisters Faye Collins and Janice DeFrice and brothers, James and Robert Walls.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in the funeral home.  Interment will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
