Phyllis Rutledge

Phyllis S. Rutledge, formally of Winter Haven, Florida passed away peacefully August 26,2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born in Castlewood, Virginia on February 9, 1933, to Steve and Katie (Banner) Sexton. Phyllis loved playing cards, shopping, but most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Gloria (Jack) Hiles; granddaughter Laura (Denis) Logan, grandson John (Bibiana) Hiles; sisters, Betty Sexton, Virginia Gordon and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George, and grandson Raymond Cassidy. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 1:30 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Maumee Valley Historical Society FBO the Maumee Memorabilia Museum.
