Phyllis J. Plantz-Parks, 95, of Northwood, Ohio and formerly of Williston, Ohio, died, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in Perrysburg, Ohio after a lengthy illness. She was born in Williston on April 27, 1926 to William G and Mary L. (Schimmel) Schimming. Phyllis was an LPN and worked at Dr’s. Slaughterbeck, O’Toole & Doneff for 16 years, retiring in 1986. Phyllis married Robert L. Plantz on August 3, 1943, in Williston and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1983. She married Martin E. Parks, Jr., also in Williston on November 15, 1986 and he also passed away on September 13, 2015. Phyllis was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Williston where she was married to both Robert and Martin. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Jennie (David) Hodulik, son, Barrett (Lorraine) Plantz, grandsons, Troy (Jennifer) Hodulik, Eric (Jan) Hodulik, Jamie (Leeca) Plantz, Jason (Tina) Plantz, Derek Plantz, great grandchildren, Dylan, Allison, Jaylan, Kellyn, Ethan, Aralyn, Trystan, Adalyn, Anthony, Alex, Hannah, Ashley, Hailey, stepdaughter, Janice (Robert) Thorson, step-grandchildren, Jennifer, and David and three step-great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, William & Mary, husbands, Robert & Martin, sisters, Olga Hansen and Geraldine Marsh and brothers, Lester, Virgil, Myron, and Raymond Schimming. A funeral service for Phyllis will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday, July 23, 2021 in St. John Lutheran Church, Williston, preceded by visitation from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa is assisting with arrangements.
