Phyllis Louise King

Phyllis L. King, 84 of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. Phyllis was born on February 29, 1924 in Port Clinton to Clifford and Leona Franck. On September 14, 1942 in Danbury, OH she married Chancie King and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1998. Phyllis worked for many years at Standard Products. Survivors include: Children: Gary Paulette King of Celina, OH, Ron Lily King of Toledo, OH, Pamela Gary Grimes of Olathe, KS; Brothers: Scott and Paul Franck; Sisters: Ila Kendall, Evelyn Marquez and Betty Frank. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jason King at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
