Phillip C. “Phil” Weyandt, 61, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away at home on February 17, 2021. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on September 20, 1959, the son of Richard and Phyllis (Lowe) Weyandt. He married the true love of his life, Elizabeth L. “Lisa” (Alleman) in Millbury, Ohio on October 13, 1989. Phil was retired from the BP/Husky Refinery, in Toledo where he had worked for 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1983-1987. Phil was a true family man in all that he did, making his wife, children, and grandchildren his priority. He was a great cook, making amazing holiday meals for all the family to enjoy. Everyone also looked forward to his exquisite baked goods, including cookies, cupcakes, tasty cheesecake and his special cakes that he made for family and friends. He shared his love of cooking with anyone who would be around. A few years ago, when his daughter was a resident of the Ronald McDonald House, he prepared a fish fry that was enjoyed by all the residents. He would say that it was “just what he loved to do.”If Phil did have any down tie, he would go fishing!
