Phillip G. Eisenmann, 67, a longtime resident of the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston, Ohio and formerly of Riga, Michigan, died Sunday, November 7, 2011 in Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Phillip was born in Adrian, MI on April 18, 1944 to Stanley G. and Fern Hoag Eisenmann, and was raised on his familys dairy farm where he enjoyed the farm life, especially working with the animals. In October of 1973 he moved to the Luther Home of Mercy. While at Luther Home he worked at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, OH. Phillip liked to spend his free time playing his guitar, bowling, and taking part in many activities. He had also participated in the Special Olympics. Phillip will be missed by his family; brother, Dale Eleanor Eisenmann, of Petersburg, MI, sisters, Lois Ted Mason and Joan Miles Cox of Blissfield, MI, and brother-in-law, Harold Donna Anderson of Milan, MI, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister, Phyllis Anderson, and sister, Rhea Mae Cobb. A funeral service for Phillip will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the Luther Home of Mercy Chapel, 5810 Main St., Williston, OH 43468. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon in the Whiteford Union Cemetery, Sterns Rd., Lambertville, MI. The family suggests memorial contributions in Phillips name be made to the Luther Home of Mercy. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
