Deacon Phillip M. Dazley, 84, of Genoa, died Friday, March 06, 2015 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Toledo, OH, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 14, 1931 in Toledo, OH the son of Fred and Jennie (Pierce) Dazley. On June 20, 1953 in Genoa, OH he married Mary Elizabeth Yatsko, and she preceded him in death on March 12, 2012. Phillip was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, OH. Phillip was ordained as a Deacon at Rosary Cathedral on May 20, 1995. He worked as an electrician for the Jeep Corp. retiring in 1992 after 30 years of service. Phillip will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Kathy (Roger) Kreis; Sons: Phillip (Delsie) Dazley, Michael (Debbie) Dazley and Ken (Shelley) Dazley; 14 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Sara Williams, Lora Kleinhans; Brother: William Dazley and numerous nieces and nephews. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother: Donald Dazley; sisters: Ruth Haar, Jean Rost and Lois Deimling. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Tuesday, March 10 and 2-8pm, Wednesday March 11, 2015 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, OH. A scripture service will be conducted 7pm, Wednesday in the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Cemetery, Genoa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in memory of Phillip may be given to the Our Lady of Lourdes Building Fund, 204 Main St., Genoa, OH 43430.
