Phillip Wayne Cunningham, Iii

Phillip Wayne Cunningham, III, age 18, of Toledo, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was a student at Start High School and was preparing to graduate from the Skyway Career Prep High School program. Phillip was currently employed for CSP, North Baltimore, Ohio, as a team production member. He was a hard worker and took great pride in providing for himself and his family.

Phillip was a jokester. He was humorous and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He always made sure to keep in touch with all his friends and family. Phillip loved to cook and often indulged in his favorite snacks- Hot Cheetos, and toasted PB&J’s. He had a passion for all sports and enjoyed playing basketball and football. He especially loved the Pittsburg Steelers. His family will remember him for his beautiful smile, his positive personality, and for being “spoiled rotten”.

Phillip Wayne Cunningham, III, was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 29, 2003, the son of Phillip Wayne Cunningham, II, and Tai (Mark) Farrow and they both survive.

Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Jazzerae Johnson; daughter, Ni’yanni Ahmiri Jada Cunningham; siblings, Tierra Cunningham, Arianna Sheppard, Alana and Ph’nique Cunningham, Quentin Cunningham-Peck, of Huntstville, Alabama, and Bryanna McKinney-Marshall, of Birmingham, Alabama; grandparents, Debra (Mike) King, Debra Galloway, and Farrell (Lynnette) Reid; great-grandmother, Doris Myers; great-uncle, Richard Grant; best friends, Jaidenn Harris, EJ Simmons, Jaiden Landis, Arvell Harrison, and Armond Ulis. He will be missed by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Phillip Wayne Cunningham, Sr.; great-grandparents, Mary Long, and Dannie and Farrell Reid; one uncle, Farrell Reid, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 12:00-5:00PM at the Walker Funeral Home, Sylvania Avenue. Funeral Services will follow at 5:00PM with Pastor Brandon Wilkes officiating. The family is hosting a wake, in honor of Phillips life, following the services on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 6:30PM at VFW Post 606, 3005 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio. Walker Funeral Home has been entrusted to handle arrangements.
