Philip Robert Echard

Philip Robert Echard, age 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 1, 1929 to Abram and Mary (Snyder) Echard. Philip was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Perrysburg VFW and American Legion. He was a member at St. Rose Parish in Perrysburg, where he also was a former Boy Scout Leader. Philip owned and operated Echards Lock Service and was a member of the Pennsylvania-Ohio Locksmith Association and Associated Locksmiths of America. He enjoyed crosswords, but his family was his greatest love. Philip is survived by his daughters, Marcia (Lawrence) and Sheila; son, Mark (Annette); five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and brother, Richard Morrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joanne; brother, Gerald and sister, Marilyn. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2:00 PM until the time of services at 6:00 PM.
