Philip Carter

Philip K Carter born September 11, 1952, passed January 8th 2025 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving partner of 40 years Anna Mills, his son Philip Carter Jr., his five grandchildren Jerry Willis III, Dustin, Branden, Devin, Jayden, his six great grandchildren Julian, Jordan, Jerry, Aubree, Ava, and Hendrix, his brothers ‘Butch’ Walter (Jane), Donald (Jonnie) Carter, Michael (Bonnie) Carter, as well as many many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents John R and Dosha (Gill) Carter, his daughter Laurie Carter, granddaughter Ashley, his sister Ola and five brothers Ken, James, William, Robert and Rickey Carter.

Phil had a 47 year career owning his Ohio/Michigan contracting Business specializing in residential and lead abatement for city, county and state. He also had a passion as a Professional Housing Provider and fixing and showing classic cars. He was always looking for ways to help others from housing to jobs to simply being where he was needed to help out. Phil was a lifelong member of Toledo Real Estate Investors Association allowing him to travel and share his knowledge all over the world.
