Philip Arthur Bartell, 60, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 11, 1961 in Port Clinton, OH to Robert “Bob” H. and Lucille A. (Henry) Bartell. Phil worked Eric Hahn’s “Bite Me Bait” in Oak Harbor and the previously known as St. Clair Bait Barn. He also previously worked at the Fremont Glass Co. in Fremont, OH years ago. Phil loved his job and going fishing. He also enjoyed deer hunting and bird watching. He was known to have the biggest heart and always willing to help others. He was the perfect gentleman to Dolly and always did things to look out for her and support her.
Phil is survived by his companion, Dolly (Harder) Bartell, siblings, Patricia (William) Brannon, Sandra (Melvin) Wegman, and Ray (Shannon) Bartell, and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. There will be no services at this time.
