Perry Maynard Creed

Perry Maynard Creed, 77, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on November 25, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to Orley Maynard and Mary Marguerite Creed. He married Gladys Rosalyn Pridemore in Columbus, Ohio on October 14, 1955. Perry was an Operations Manager for AT&T for over 37 years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, as well as golfing and he loved to watch sports. Perry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gladys Creed; children, Perry M. (Jackie) Creed, Robert S. (Debra) Creed, Sandra L. (Thomas) Hause and Judith M. (Brian) Smith; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Nancy) Creed. He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Kathryn. Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 4-8 P.M. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 with Pastor Timothy Philabaum officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider The American Heart Association.
