Penny Ann Hodges, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 30, 2025. She was born January 10, 1945, in Grundy Center, Iowa to Lloyd and Marlene Sincock.
   
  
On September 29, 1966, Penny married the love of her life, William Hodges. Together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and countless adventures. They especially loved traveling in their RV with family, creating lasting memories at destinations across the country, including Washington D.C. and Florida. Penny and William also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas where she visited the casinos and attended shows.
   
  
A spirited sports fan, Penny had a special passion for hockey. She proudly held season tickets for the Toledo Walleye and rarely missed a game, cheering on her team with unwavering enthusiasm.
   
  
At home, Penny was known for her warmth and her cooking. She was a talented cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends, with her lasagna and beef stroganoff being cherished favorites.
   
  
Above all, Penny will be remembered for the love she shared with her husband, family, and friends. Her kind heart, adventurous spirit, and devotion to her loved ones will be deeply missed.
   
  
Penny is survived by her daughters: Kim (Jack) Dickey and Kasey Hodges; grandchildren: Jack Dickey, Nicole Dickey, Gavin Dickey, Caleb Myrice, and Blake Myrice. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; as well as her sister, Connie Walker.
   
  
A graveside service will be held September 4, 2025, at 2:15 pm at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
