Peggy A. Koepfer

Peggy A. Koepfer age 81 of Maumee, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Perrysburg Commons. Peggy was born in Albemarle, NC on May 1, 1933 to Zimmery J. and Florence Burleson.Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, Toledo; Maumee Eagles and the Moose Lodge in Toledo. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, watching sports, camping and attending church. Surviving is her children, Alana Koepfer and Bernita Lynn Koepfer; grandchildren, Samantha (Jason) Jaquillard and Kenny West; great-grandchildren, Emily and Maston; great-great grandchildren, Stevan and Stevana and a sister, Betty Austin. Also surviving is her faithful canine companion, Buster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen J. Koepfer; daughter, Donna West; sisters, Mary and Margaret and a brother, Mac. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 3-8 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday June, 18, 2014 at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo.
