Peggy Ann (Brown) Brennan passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2023. She was born in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Whitney Vocational High School in 1965.
She met the love of her life, James Brennan in April of 1969 in London, Ontario, Canada and enjoyed a long adventurous life with him. They owned and operated J&M Hobbies in Maumee, Ohio for 30 years. James built his treasured wife a 1927 Model T Street Rod and together with his 1930 Ford Coupe they attended numerous street rod conventions. Peggy enjoyed aquatic exercise at St. James Club. She loved music and whistling, providing lots of entertainment during exercises at the club for her fellow “mermaids”.
She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Margaret, beloved husband James, and wonderful son, Michael.
She is survived by her daughter Jannette, cherished grandsons Eric, Keith and Nathan, and daughter-in-law Heidi.
Friends will be received Friday, December 1st from 2 pm to 8pm at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home (501 Conant St. Maumee). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in The Brennan Family name to the Toledo Humane Society, (827 Illinois Ave. Maumee).
