Pedro Zamarripa, Jr.

Pedro Pete Zamarripa, Jr., 69, of Port Clinton passed away, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born on August 11, 1940 in Pharr, TX, the son of Pedro and Fidencia Saavedra Zamarripa, Sr. Pete was retired from USCO Logistics after working for 40 years. He worked part time at East Harbor State Park, Port Clinton, OH. Pete was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include: Daughters: Karen Michelle Zamarripa of Toledo, OH and Robyn Joseph Ramon of Norwalk, OH; Grandchildren: Paige Alexis, Joseph Glen, Benicio Nico Peter and Gabriel Andres; Sisters: Angela Dages of Port Clinton, OH and Celia Marcario Torres of Toledo, OH; Brother: Domingo Zamarripa of Texas; Sisters: Cruz Ybaez, Luz Frank Molina and Elva Adkins all of Texas; many loving nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Live Zamarripa and brother: Andres Zamarripa. Visitation will be from 10AM-12:30PM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by prayers at 12:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 1:00PM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton.
