PEARLY M. COLE Pearly M. Cole, age 86, of Oregon, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. She was born on August 8, 1925 in Salyersville, Ky. to Fred and Mary Belle Sparks. Pearly enjoyed church, shopping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Wanda Sue (Phillip) Garcia, Merle “Dean” (MaryAnn) Cole, Earl (Charlene) Cole, Mary Lou (Jerry) Steed, Arnita (Edward) Lohmeyer, Ruth (Stacy) Tackett and David Michael (Julie) Cole; twenty-five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Glen (Joyce) Sparks, Earl (Faye) Sparks, Ruben (Rella) Sparks, Fred “Dude” (Opal) Sparks Jr. and Harold Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winford; and son, Bural C. Cole. Friends will be received on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
