Pauline Polderman, age 96, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on September 6, 1918 in El Paso, Illinois to Jesse and Elizabeth Carrithers. Pauline enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, loved to knit and was a beautiful seamstress. She served her church, Monroe Street United Methodist for more than 60 years. Pauline also volunteered at Red Cross for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman Polderman. She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Tom) Clark and Jan (Rich) Poll; grandchildren, Mike (Kim) Clark, Scott (Carrie) Poll, Kristin (Rob) Reboul, Julie Riggs and Tim (Trudy) Clark; great-grandchildren, Macy Clark, Jack & Clark Reboul, Tyler Potter, Brendan Riggs and Charlie & Kegan Clark and brother, Jesse Carrithers, Jr. Burial will be private. The family wishes to thank Dr. Donald Hickey, the staff at Sunset House and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving and caring support.
