Pauline Ethel Parker, passed away August 5, 2008, age 89, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Detroit Avenue. She was born to Leon and Ethel Tolhurst of Marshall, Michigan on November 6, 1918. Polly graduated from the University of Michigan and for 25 years proudly taught at Lincoln School in the Toledo Public School System. Paulines interests ranged from earning a private pilots license, to competitive bridge, to world travel with her sister, Lillian, to keeping her family supplied with the worlds best chocolate chip cookies nuts or no nuts. Beloved wife of the late, Robert G. Parker, she is survived by sister, Lillian Trubey of Fort Lauderdale, FL; dear mother of Patricia Lee Baden of Waterville, OH, Christopher Jean Parker of Cincinnati, OH and Robert Minda Parker of Portage, OH; dear grandmother of Julie Bruce Westenfelder, Aaron Meg Baden, Brad Parker, Andy Stephanie Parker, Bob Parker and Betsy Parker; loving great grandmother of Isaac, Ethan and Estelle. In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ken Baden. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and always remembered with love. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
