Pauline Guthrie

Pauline Guthrie, 86, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Pauline was born on August 01, 1926 in Gray, KY, the daughter of Estle and Maud Myrtle Jeanette Parrot Smith. On October 20, 1943 in Harlan County, KY, she married Julius M. Guthrie and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1997. Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Port Clinton Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Pauline was a great Christian woman. She loved her family, enjoyed drawing and cooking. Pauline loved everyone she came into contact with and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Glenda Dusseau of Monroe, MI, Carolyn Sue Guthrie, Mary Joe Isbell both of Port Clinton, OH and Martha Tom Hammock of Vickery, OH; Son: Charles Edward Carol Guthrie of Port Clinton, OH; Grandchildren: Tammy Tommy Hammitte, Jeff Kim Dusseau, Paula Cary Mahr, Ronnie Hammock, Terry Hammock, Vicki Scott Dickman, Tony Katherine Hammock, Beth Todd Dryfuss, Jamie Sarah Baer Isbell, Heather Isbell and Catrina Guthrie; Great-Grandchildren: Breanna Adam Lewis, Megan, Ryleigh Olivia Hammitte, Taylor, Cameron Evan Mahr, Erica, Ashly Kylie Dickman, Sammy, Gracie Ben Dryfuss, Connor Arabella Helle, Garrett Isbell, Brooke Hammock, Nathan, Noah Hayden Dusseau and many loving nieces nepehews. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant daughter, brothers sisters. Visitation will be 5-8PM, Friday, November 23, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Pauline may be given to Stein Hospice.
