Pauline S. Deming

Pauline S. Deming, 86, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Wednesday, January 01, 2014 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Pauline was born on February 10, 1927 in Pound, VA, the daughter of Olonzo and Ottlid Countiss Shortt. She worked as a laborer for the U.S.Gypsum Co. until her retirement. Pauline was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was a hard worker and was dedicated to her daughter. Pauline will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Barbara Deming of Port Clinton; Sisters: Janet Davenport of Jackson, MI and Joyce Bolling of Georgia. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Bernard Shortt, Kenneth Shortt Daniel Lee Shortt and sister: Willie Ann Boggs. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, May 03, 2014 at Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Pauline may be given to Riverview Industries. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH has assisted the family with arrangements.
