Paula R. Odom

Paula R. Odom, age 65, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Paula was born May 5, 1948 in Toledo, OH to Paul R. and Dolores C. Odom. She attended Longfellow Elementary School and graduated from Start High School in 1966. Paula began working for Owens-Illinois after receiving her Bachelors of Business Degree from the University of Toledo. She transferred to Libbey Glass where she was an information technology specialist and later to Seaway Foodtown where she remained until their closure. Paula then began working for Pilkington Industries until retiring in 2012. Paula was an avid collector of fine guitars and enjoyed playing guitar at her church. She was devoted to her constant companions the girls, Bailey and Sadie, her miniature schnauzers. Paula was also a fan of old movies and had a large collection of classic films. She will be missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Paula is survived by her brother, John Pat Odom; niece, Keri Brent Hopson; nephew, John Odom; and cousins, Richard and Jerry Campbell. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm.
