Paul L. Wilkins, 56, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 19, 1969, in Port Clinton, OH, to Calvin W. and Frances J. (Floro) Wilkins.
Paul, affectionately known as “Paulie” and “Pa,” graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1987. He dedicated 18 years of service to the Sewer Treatment Plant in Catawba Island, OH, working as a sanitary engineer. He also operated his own property management business, where one of his proudest accomplishments was revamping the Apollo Mobile Park. A true jack of all trades, Paul could fix just about anything and was known for his strong work ethic, mentoring spirit, and willingness to help others.
Family was the heart of Paul’s life. He especially cherished his role as a grandpa and fostered many children over the years, sharing his positivity, guidance, and love. He was a member of The Chapel in Port Clinton and found great joy in spending time with his family on the farm, fishing, and cooking out. Paul’s uplifting attitude and encouraging words will be deeply missed, especially by those who relied on his constant support and wisdom.
Paul is survived by his wife, Suzanne Wilkins; children, Joseph (Kassidy) Wilkins and Brock Hensley; grandchildren, Remington, Paisley, and Boden; brother, Ray (Dolly) Wilkins; special niece and goddaughter, Crystal Wilkins; and great-nieces and nephews, Brianna, Caiden, Eliza, and Everleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Marie Wilkins and Ed Wilkins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH, with visitation beginning two hours prior, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Cleveland Clinic.
