Paul C Wilgus

Paul C. Wilgus, Sr., 90, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Paul was born September 7, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio. Paul proudly served our country in the United States Army. He earned his bachelor and master’s degree from The University of Toledo and went on to earn is Doctorate degree in Psychology. Paul was a very well respected psychologist in Portland, Oregon as well as Toledo, Ohio. He was an avid trumpet player and loved to ski. Paul was a world traveler and enjoyed traveling to Austria, Africa, Egypt, Germany and Bora Bora being his favorite. Every year either on or around his birthday, Paul would attempt some athletic fleet; whether it was running a marathon, swimming across the Columbia River or rock climbing he had many accomplishments. Paul is survived by his children; Brenda White, Paul (Debra) Wilgus, Jr., Karl (Tommy) Wilgus, Andrea Baer, Heidi (Craig) Kramer and Stacy Dodston; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Joann-Marie Fountaine and close friends, Amy Wakefield, Bonnie Burgmann and Ernie Navarro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenecia. Services will be private.
