Paul Clement Pellioni, age 72, of La Salle MI, passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 24 in his home after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Paul was born April 24, 1953 in Toledo OH and grew up in the Old Orchard neighborhood in West Toledo, which is where his enthusiasm for life began. He was a proud graduate of Gesu School and St. Francis de Sales High School. He graduated from the University of Toledo and received his MBA from Cleveland State University, and to this day was often in the stands supporting the Toledo Rockets at football games. During his career, he helped run several local businesses, including Hause Machines, Habitec, and Toledo Mirror and Glass. His management role at each of these businesses allowed him to utilize one of his best skills: working with and caring for people. He retired 2 years ago and began volunteering with SCORE, a nationwide non-profit organization providing free mentoring to entrepreneurs. This allowed him to continue his eagerness to work with and help others. It brought him immense joy to pass on lessons he learned throughout his career to assist people in achieving their goals.
His appreciation for life was evident to all who interacted with him. Paul loved to laugh. It was common to see him with a big smile while enjoying a friendly, meaningful conversation with someone. He never complained about his Parkinson’s disease and continued being lively and having a positive attitude in his life.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother Patricia, father Albert, brother Frank, and sister Eileen. Paul’s spirit lives on with his loving wife Susan (Dunipace), son Matthew, brother Don, step daughters Ashley Key (Todd) and Bethany Nyitray, step grandchildren Elizabeth and Alex Key, and many other loving family members and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Paul and attend a funeral mass at Christ the King at 2:00pm on September 6, 2025. Any tributes may be in the form of contributions to the Sisters of the Visitation in Toledo, OH https://toledovisitation.org/donation/.
