Paul J. Oherron

Paul J. P.J. OHerron, age 87, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 in the Swan Pointe Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 1, 1921 in Bradford, PA to Clarence and Cleo Hinderschide OHerron. P.J. was an US Navy Veteran serving in WWII on the LST-127. He had a long and successful career in the logging and chain saw industry. P.J. was a member of the LST-127 Association, the American Legion in the Geauga, County area and parishioner at St. Helens Catholic Church. P.J. is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Wanda Watkins OHerron whom he married, May 19, 1945; children, Patricia OHerron, Donna Robert Karr, Kathleen Czuba, James Brenda OHerron and Stephen Kim OHerron; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, P.J. was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Pickett and brother, Edmund OHerron. Family and friends may visit Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee.
