PAUL F. NISSEN Paul F. Nissen, 76, passed away peacefully July 26, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, surrounded by his family. Paul was born November 7, 1934 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Andrew and Alice (Brockschmidt) Nissen. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Slinker Nissen. Paul worked at Libbey Owens Ford as a glass cutter for 34 years. He enjoyed mowing yards and spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Judy, Paul is survived by his two daughters, Michelle (Bob) Fritz and Yvonne (John) Balderas; grandchildren, Amanda and Bryan Fritz and Michaela Balderas and two sisters, Carole (Art) Watson and Janet (Jim) Hagemeyer. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held from 5-7 P.M., Friday, July 29, 2011 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) with a memorial service beginning at 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
