Paul Joseph Lucas

Paul Joseph Lucas, 75, of Marblehead, OH, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008, at his residence. He was born December 15, 1933 in Marblehead, OH, the son of Joseph D. and Mary H. Kruchowsky Lucas. On November 12, 1966, in Sandusky, OH, he married Annette Karen Coker and she survives. Paul worked as a maintenance superintendant for the ITT Grinnell Foundry in Statesboro, GA and many years working at Sandusky International and Kelsey Hayes Foundry in Fremont, OH. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. He was a social member of the V.F.W. Stanley Jadwisiak Post #7572, Marblehead, OH and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Statesboro, GA. Paul was an avid Notre Dame Fan. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 42 years: Annette Karen Lucas of Marblehead, OH; Son: Daniel Michael Lucas of Statesboro, GA; Daughter: Anna Jean Bruce Trautmann of Lakewood, OH; Son: Sgt. 1st Class Steven George Lucas, stationed in Colorado Springs and currently serving in Iraq; Son: Major Jeffery Paul Lenore Lucas of West Point, NY; Grandchildren: Alyson, Lauren, Emily, Lindsay, Elizabeth Kathleen; Brother: Joseph Lucas of Marblehead, OH and many loving nieces nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons: Stephen Kyle Trautmann and Jackson Bruce Trautmann, sisters-in-law: Sandra Lee Lucas and Kathleen Mary Hallier. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8PM, Friday, December 26, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Reverend Dan Ring, at 10:30AM, Saturday, December 27, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH, where the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemtery. Memorial contributions may be given in Pauls memory to Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice, American Cancer Society or to the V.F.W.
