Paul F. Konzen

Paul F. Konzen, 86, of Toledo, passed away Monday, September 01, 2008 in Swan Pointe Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 8, 1922 in Napoleon, OH to Henry and Leona Klear Konzen. Paul was a WWII Army veteran serving during the Normandy Invasion. He was an Office Manager for Acme Specialty for over 10 years, retiring in the 1970s. An avid gardener, Paul was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rita Fisher Konzen whom he married September 25, 1954 at Immaculate Conception Church, Toledo; children, Patricia Phillip Steusloff, Gregory Kerry Konzen, Neal Connie Konzen, Thomas Konzen and Richard Konzen; grandchildren, Niki Jacob Morris, Dani Steusloff, Bethany Adam White, Laurel Hoff, Nate Konzen, Keri Ryan Wells, Ashley and Summer Konzen; great grandchildren, Jason and Mia Volker and brother, Gerald Konzen. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Cletus Konzen. Family and friends may visit Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
