Paul T. Gosda, age 81, of Toledo died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice. He was born June 14, 1933 in Plattsburg, New York to Erwin and Violet (Muswick) Gosda. A 1952 graduate of Libbey High School, Paul served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Seaman who worked for Inland Lakes Management Inc. on the SS Inglehart as a Wheelsman, retiring in 1998. Paul was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and a dedicated volunteer at his neighborhood Senior Center. He deeply loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a lover of dogs and enjoyed traveling throughout Canada which he often referred to as his second home. He was survived by his sister, Karen Fulkert; sister-in-law, Marilyn Gosda as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Violet; sister, Barbara (Ray) Neville and brother, Arlan “Bud” Gosda. Friends will be received on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3360 Nebraska Ave. Toledo, OH 43607. Burial will remain private. Contributions may be made in Paul’s name to the church.
