Paul Edward Ekey, Sr.

Paul Edward Ekey, Sr., 80, of Rossford, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1940 in Carthage, New York to Addison and Leona (Cline) Ekey. He graduated from Woodward High School and proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He married Paulette Stanislawski they shared 57 years together. Paul worked as a Tool & Die Maker for Journeyman for 50 Years. He loved to travel, camp, gamble at the casinos and repair cars. He was strong in his Catholic faith and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford. Paul always loved a challenge. Hershey chocolate bars, ice cream and spaghetti were his favorites. He will be remembered for his friendly, outgoing, giving and creative personality and will be missed by all who knew him. Paul is survived by his wife, Paulette; children; Paul (Debbie) Ekey, Jr., Dawn Marie (Jim) Longeway, Julie Ann Ekey and Gaye Williams; grandchildren, James (Amanda) Longeway, Shawn Longeway, Cydnie Ekey, Katie (fiancée, Colin) Ekey, Mandi Longeway, Abigail Ekey , three great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Marion Hamm and Marjorie Fernandez and his Godson Jeffery Hamm. Friends will be received Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford (419-666-1566). A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio.
