Paul Appleman, 52, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Friday, March 7, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on July 25, 1961 in Mount Gilead, OH, the son of Clyde Cole and Judith Glassmyer Appleman. On November 3, 2006 in Port Clinton, he married Melanie Joseph Appleman and she survives. Paul was hard working man and an avid biker, hunter and fisherman. He loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. His fondest memories were traveling to Tennessee, and camping. He was looking forward to being with his grandkids and dogs camping at his pond in Erie Twp. Paul will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Melanie; mother: Judith; step father Denver Freeman; daughter: Paula Kay Appleman; step children: Levi Sarah Joseph, Alan Joseph, Sarah Joseph, Jennifer Joseph; grandchildren: Dylan Cole Reynolds, Steel & Knox Joseph, Mason & Landon Wagner, and Griffin Joseph, Makayla Vaughn; and brother: Harry Sandy Appleman; sister: Cindy Tina Cole; step-brother: Jim Susie Freeman and several Nieces & Nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his brother: Larry Appleman, Sr. Visitation will be 5-8, Monday March 10, 2014 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:00am, conducted by Fr. John Misler. Memorial donations in memory of Paul may directed to the family.
