Patti J. Clayton

Patti J. Clayton, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Ebeid Hospice Center. She was born in Toledo on November 20, 1932 to Walter and Marie (Woodrich) Roloff. Patti retired from 5/3 Bank in downtown Toledo. She worked for several additional years as a playground monitor at Whiteford Elementary in Sylvania, where she enjoyed her interaction with the kids. Patti was an avid reader of fictional novels, often reading an entire book in one day. She also loved watching the Hallmark Channels, playing euchre with her card group and going out to lunch with her friends. Most of all, she loved her family and her time spent with them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish Patti’s memory are her daughter, Sherri (Philip) Miller, grandson, Philip (Katy) Miller and great-grandson Henry Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey “Gene” Clayton and son, Kevin Clayton. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623. Services will begin in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Private interment at a later time will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
