Patsy Muncey

Patsy K. Muncey, formerly of Catawba Island passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Ashland, Ohio. She was born on March 17, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to Frank and Eleanor (McGinley) Yoakam. She was a 1961 graduate of Lakeside High School.

Pat was a former Real Estate Agent, and Antique Dealer. She was married to Ray Muncey, the love of her life. They enjoyed boating, fishing and golfing together. Patsy loved the Lord, and also enjoyed gardening, growing house plants, and drawing. She sketched many pictures for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children: Maureen (Russ) Bruner, Kathy (Todd) Durnwald, Mary Anne (Charles) Kettering, and Larry Motel; step-daughter, Dee Dee Muncey; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is her loving husband, Ray Muncey; sisters, Mary Hallier, Gladys Stanley, Frances Yoakam; and brothers, David Pletcher, Raymond Pletcher.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Country Church, 1301 SR 89, Ashland, Ohio on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 11 am until Funeral Services at 12 pm with Pastor Robert Finley officiating. There will be a light luncheon immediately following the service. Burial will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11 am at Catawba Island Cemetery, 4997 E. Cemetery Road, Port Clinton, Ohio.
