Patrick Stein

Patrick Allan Stein, born January 6th, 1967 passed December 28th, 2024 at the age of 57 in his loving wife’s arms and holding his daughter's hand. He is survived by his wife Kelly Stein, his three children, Ryan (Natalie), Michael (Brittney), and Savannah Stein, his five grandchildren, Kylie, Hunter, Cameron, Theodore, and Ethan, his siblings Donna Thomas, Michael (Sandra) Stein, Linda (Charles) Hablitzel, and Mary Jo (Sally) Jaggers, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marilyn Stein and his sister Sandra Stein.

Patrick was raised in Perrysburg Ohio and graduated with the class of 1985. He began his career working as a general manager at Chi-Chi’s Mexican Restaurant where he met his wife of 32 years. He loved to cook and even spent time as a chef in a French bakery. He later started his own carpet cleaning business, Floor Care Plus, where he enjoyed working with all of his children. Most recently, he worked as a Sheriff's Deputy in the Wood County Sheriff's auxiliary. It was always his dream to serve his community in this way and his family is grateful that he could achieve it. He had a passion for camping, classic rock, and began gardening last spring. Patrick had a fantastic sense of humor from dad jokes to harmless pranks on family members, he was sure to make everyone around him laugh. He was also always looking for ways to help others, whether that was stopping to help in traffic accidents, taking students to the soup kitchen, or simply being there when he was needed.

A viewing will be held in his honor on January 7th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH. ( 419-8743133) A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg Ohio. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his family.
