Patrick “Jim” Moore, age 58, of Holland died suddenly Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Flower Hospital. He was born in Ashland, Ohio on March 15, 1953 to Frank L. and Marcia J. (Ridgley) Moore. A graduate of West Geauga High School, Jim graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He was employed by Midwest Tapes as an Operations Director and was previously employed by Fypon Limited and Owens Corning. Jim was known as a wonderful family man, hard worker and had an incredible sense of humor. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Pamela J. Moore; daughters, Amanda F. and Abigail J. Moore; brothers, Tom and Rob (Kris) Moore; sister, Marilou Moore as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marcia as well as his brothers, Richard and William Moore. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-9 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School Chapel, 3225 Pickle Road in Oregon with Rev. Eric Shields , President of Cardinal Stritch, officiating. The family will receive friends after 9:30 A.M. Private graveside services will be held on Friday in Ashland, Ohio. Contributions may be made in Jim’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
